Deidre Campbell-Jones....

Qualifications:

I consider myself to be a "Jack of all trades - Mistress of none."  Every opportunity listed within the pages of DCS, Inc. is one I have experience in - whether limited or proficient.  I've played musical instruments; studied, performed and taught dance, modeling and voice; I've directed choirs  and received a full vocal scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  I am an avid reader; prolific writer, proficient editor and am certificated in both basic graphic design and html scripting.  I can draw and paint (sort-of), sew and am also learning to knit.  I have designed clothes, jewelry and room interiors, and I do all manner of arts and crafts.  Still, somehow I feel this only scratches the surface of my many creative capabilities. 

I have held a plethora of job positions including receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant, executive secretary, assistant manager, assistant office manager, project coordinator, project manager, project analyst, trainer, manager, teacher, instructor, graphic artist, graphic technician and all around retail clerk.   My job history includes corporate, non-profit, educational, entrepreneurial and political experiences in a variety of environments that include everything from elementary schools, advertising and the California State Capitol.  Believe me, my resume is as diverse as I am!

I have owned a myriad of businesses including desktop publishing (Destination Computer Services), a Christian Gift catalog (Gifts from the Heart), Christian services for youth and young adults (Young at Heart!) and Destination Ministries - which was the predecessor to DCS, Inc. and utilized all the other companies in an early attempt at the current structure of DCS, Inc.

Obviously God knew what He wanted of me and it has taken me quite a while to sort out the pieces, as well as fully commit to this all being God's idea, plan and purpose for my life.  Finally, after 40 years of being me, I am quite accepting of the way God knit me together in my mother's womb - a multitasking, idea generating, dreamer who always keeps her schedule full of hope for that one opportunity that will be all I dream it can be - all that God whispers to my heart that it could be.

It is this hope that I desire to pass on to the youth whom God' brings into the fold of Destination Christian Services, Inc.  And, it is with this hope that I continue to serve no one other than the one true and living Father God, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
